Living in the world of today is very challenging. I want to create art that is serene. Nature can be a balm to the spirit. In my art I seek to be reassuring that healing energy, beauty and tranquility can and do exist. The soul can be at peace in the world despite the perils of being caught up in day to day chaos.

I work in two art media:
1. Abstract paintings based on landscape and boticanical themes.
2. Ceramic sculpture mainly in the biomorphic forms of "over-the-top" sized seed pods that can be hung on the wall or placed on a table. Many of these seed pods contain rattling beads inside. They are fun to hold, shake gently and hear the ceramic beads make music.
